This track is the first track I composed for a video, that we were making for the blog.
To be completely honest, I’ve got no experience with making soundtracks, and my musical style is more about patterns than about random atmospheres, so I started building a pattern that I mostly repeated all over the video, with small variations here and there.
Despite the fact the track has a nice sound to it, I felt afterwards it was sounding a bit sad and dark, whereas the atmosphere for the video should rather have been magical and extraordinary.
Most of the soundtracks for the following videos have rather been music just added (and sometimes adjusted) to the video, rather than specifically composed for it. Lately, Sapna has even been building the video based on the track itself. I’m still feeling I’ll need another challenge at some point, and I may redo a new real soundtrack for some of our videos.
