I know, sounds like I’m doing a concert in Medellin, but hey I haven’t gotten there, yet. One day, who knows…? 🙂
Anyways, we’re currently stuck in Medellin, waiting for new clutch discs for the bike. Medellin is a nice city, so it’s not an annoying situation to be stuck here: we visited a few museums already and also the neighbourhood called “Comuna 13” exposing great graffitis on many of its walls. I also took the opportunity to compose several new tracks for the South America upcoming album: Northern Desert, Fire And Ice, Colombia, Reflections and One Minute To Midnight.
Medellin is the third big city we stopped at in Colombia, after Bogotá and Cartagena. You can see our itinerary on the right of the page. We definitely loved Bogotá, and to some extend Cartagena – despite the heat, and Medellin has a similar feel to Bogotá, yet a bit less cool temperatures.
Next we’ll be heading toward the 4th big city, Cali, but I’m not sure we’ll stay there. We have plans to visit the coffee region and several of the small towns on our way to Ecuador.
That’s all for the news at the moment so, if you’re in Medellin, give us a shout!
‘Later, Gummies!
